Richest Boxers and MMA Fighters 2026: Our Ranking

Last updated: July 6, 2026 · Methodology: Independent editorial estimates anchored on the most recent reputable reporting (Celebrity Net Worth, Forbes, Sportico), with anchor sources linked below. Figures reflect estimated 2026 net worth, not career earnings — which is why a legend like Mike Tyson ranks by today’s wealth rather than the ~$400M he earned in the ring. See our Methodology page.

Combat sports produce some of the largest single paydays in all of athletics. A handful of boxing and MMA stars have turned pay-per-view dominance — and, increasingly, business ventures — into nine-figure fortunes. This is our 2026 ranking of the wealthiest boxers and mixed martial artists.

Notes on Disputed and Updated Figures

  • Floyd Mayweather: the long-standing ~$400M consensus broke in 2026. Celebrity Net Worth cut its estimate to $50 million (June 2026), while Sports Illustrated still says ~$400M — and Mayweather himself is suing Showtime for at least $340 million he says is unaccounted for. We keep him at #1 on documented career earnings ($1.1B+) but flag the figure as genuinely disputed.
  • Canelo Alvarez: raised from $200M — Celebrity Net Worth says $350 million (May 2026) after the reported $400 million four-fight Riyadh Season deal, including a minimum $100 million purse for the Crawford fight.
  • Jake Paul: raised from $80M to $200 million (March 2026) after the Tyson event (~$40M) and the December 2025 Anthony Joshua fight (reported $92M payday).
  • Logan Paul: raised from $40M to $150 million — the majority is an illiquid Prime Hydration equity stake valued at $100–200 million.
  • Mike Tyson: raised from $10M to a $20–30 million range, reflecting the reported ~$20M Netflix payday — see his full profile.
  • George Foreman (died March 2025, ~$300M) is excluded as an estate; his grill fortune remains one of boxing’s great business stories.

How we ranked

Each estimate is a 2026 net-worth snapshot anchored on the most recent figure from Celebrity Net Worth, Forbes or Sportico, cross-checked against reported purses and business transactions. Combat-sports income is unusually lumpy — a single megafight can dwarf years of other earnings — so we weight confirmed career earnings against current holdings, and where sources genuinely disagree we show the range and explain why.

What we did not include

  • Legacy estates (e.g. George Foreman, Muhammad Ali) — estate-at-death figures rather than living-2026 net worth.
  • Promoters and executives whose wealth was not built primarily as a fighter.
