Net worth & personal profile

Carter ReumNet Worth

Carter Reum’s career connects a spirits business, venture investing and a startup book. His marriage to Paris Hilton brings a different kind of attention. Here is what the public record supports about both.

Net worth estimate
Not independently established

Celebrity Net Worth publishes a $20 million estimate. We have not independently verified a current net total. Sources reviewed October 17, 2026.

The essentials

01

$20M is an attributed publisher estimate, not our verified valuation. [2]

02

Luxco announced the VEEV acquisition agreement without disclosing the price. [4]

03

M13’s $400M Fund III is fund capital, not Carter’s personal wealth. [5]

The estimate · The business he built · Venture investing · Beyond the fund · Partner and family · Evidence

Carter Reum is an entrepreneur and venture investor. The strongest evidence for his business history comes from the buyer of VEEV and from M13’s own records. Those sources establish roles and transactions, but they do not disclose everything needed to calculate his personal net wealth.

Our methodology distinguishes money managed for investors from money owned by an individual. It also keeps a spouse’s finances separate unless reliable ownership evidence supports combining them.

01 / The estimate

How much is Carter Reum worth?

Celebrity Net Worth lists $20 million in its September 17, 2026 update. We attribute that figure to the publisher and leave the structured wealth value empty because no independently verified current assets-minus-debts total was established.

A useful valuation would need ownership percentages, current values of private interests, outstanding liabilities and the relevant date. Neither a venture firm’s fund size nor the apparent wealth of a spouse supplies that missing reconciliation.

02 / The business he built

VEEV Spirits: the sale is documented; the price is not

Luxco’s acquisition announcement identifies Carter and Courtney Reum as VEEV’s co-founders and dates the brand’s launch to 2007. The March 22, 2016 announcement describes an agreement to acquire VEEV Spirits and its brands, including VitaFrute. M13’s later biography describes the brothers as having built and sold VEEV.

The buyer did not disclose the deal’s financial terms. That leaves the purchase price, Carter’s ownership share, transaction costs and after-tax proceeds unresolved. An invented exit valuation would turn a documented career milestone into an unsupported personal payday.

VEEV Spirits must also be distinguished from Veeva Systems, the life-sciences software company whose founder biographies name Peter Gassner and Matt Wallach. Similar spelling does not establish shared ownership, and Veeva’s stock-market value is not evidence of Reum’s fortune.

03 / Venture investing

M13’s fund size is not a personal bank balance

M13’s current team biography names Carter as co-founder and managing partner. It says he and Courtney founded the firm in 2016, after their experience building VEEV. His role is supported; the page does not disclose a complete personal ownership or compensation statement.

On March 7, 2022, M13 announced a $400 million third fund for seed-to-Series-B investing. This is a dated fundraising announcement, not a claim about a new 2026 fund. Capital committed to an investment vehicle cannot simply be assigned to one partner as personal wealth.

Fees, ownership interests and profit participation can matter when valuing an investor’s finances, but their specific terms must be documented. We do not invent Reum’s management-fee income, carried-interest percentage, realized returns or current private-portfolio value.

04 / Beyond the fund

The book belongs to both Reum brothers

Simon & Schuster’s publisher listing credits Courtney and Carter Reum with Shortcut Your Startup. The listed paperback edition dates to September 4, 2018. M13 also identifies Carter as a co-author and describes his earlier investment-banking work at Goldman Sachs.

Authorship is a documented part of his career. The listing does not establish his book advance, royalties or lifetime publishing income. We therefore include the book as a career milestone rather than adding an estimated sales figure to his fortune.

05 / Partner and family

Paris Hilton, their wedding and his children

Hilton’s own wedding account was published November 12, 2021 and describes the ceremony the previous day, supporting a November 11 wedding date. The later biographical review continues to identify Hilton as his wife.

Public reporting identifies three children: Phoenix and London with Hilton, plus an older daughter from a previous relationship. The Associated Press report from January 2023 already distinguished Hilton’s first child from Reum’s earlier parenthood; that report predates London.

The family facts are relevant to a personal profile, but they do not reveal a marriage agreement, shared-asset allocation or current estate plan. We do not infer a combined couple’s fortune or publish private details about a minor’s custody arrangements.
