When Aaron Carter was born in Tampa on December 7, 1987 (a Saturday), he grew up with an older brother who went on to be one half of the Backstreet Boys duo; two sisters, and a twin sister. 

His parents, Robert (who passed away in 2017) and Jane ran a retirement home. Leslie sadly overdosed on drugs in 2012; two weeks before her passing, Aaron had offered to pay for her to attend rehab. 

When Aaron first started making music, his parents served as his managers. He attended the Ruskin School and Frank D. Miles Elementary School to study, receiving tutoring while traveling.
