FaZe Rug Net Worth

FaZe Rug is one of the very few creators whose wealth can be checked against a regulator’s filings rather than guessed at — because FaZe Clan was, briefly, a public company. Those filings say something profiles rarely do: his stake went from about $7.19 million of paper value to $118,536 in twenty months. A decline of 98.4 per cent.

FaZe Rug Net Worth: Why We Publish No Figure

  • Nothing in the public record supports a total. There is no disclosed income, no filing stating his net worth, and no audited figure for any of his businesses
  • The one genuinely documented asset — his FaZe equity — is the item most profiles inflate, and it is now worth a fraction of one per cent of what those profiles claim
  • Figures circulating on celebrity-home sites ($30 million mansion, $15 million portfolio) cite nothing at all
  • Our take: no figure. The documented events are below; the gaps are named. See our methodology.

The Stake, From the Filings

His entire footprint at the US Securities and Exchange Commission is two documents. There is no Form 3, 4 or 5 and no 13D or 13G — he was never an officer, director or ten-per-cent owner. What the filings do show is a number:

718,884 shares — 0.991 per cent of the 72,506,839 outstanding, as of 15 September 2022. That made him the largest talent holder disclosed, ahead of NICKMERCS (250,589), Offset (145,862), Lil Yachty (102,267) and Kyler Murray (53,342).

Two qualifications the number carries with it. These were equity-plan awards, not founder stock — registered under the 2022 Omnibus Incentive Plan, the employee share purchase plan and a legacy 2019 plan. And the filing’s own footnote says the figure includes restricted stock, restricted stock units and share options, including some vesting more than sixty days out. So 718,884 is a gross, partly unvested ceiling, and options carry an exercise price. Every dollar value below is an upper bound.

The Billion That Never Existed

The “$1 billion valuation” repeated everywhere comes from the October 2021 announcement, and it was an implied figure for the combined company assuming no redemptions. The merger agreement said something plainer: base equity value of $650,000,000. The filings even preserve the haggling — the sponsor opened at $450 million, FaZe countered at $700 million, they met at $650 million.

Then the redemptions came. Holders of 15,883,395 shares cashed out — about 92 per cent of the trust. Implied value at closing was $725 million, not a billion, and FaZe walked away with $57.8 million net against roughly $218 million anticipated.

The Ladder Down

Every price below is quoted inside an SEC filing, which is why we use them rather than a stock-chart site:

  • July 2022, $10.00 (deal reference) — his stake ≈ $7,188,840
  • October 2022, $4.96 — ≈ $3,565,665
  • December 2022, $2.01 — ≈ $1,444,957
  • August 2023, $0.36 — ≈ $258,798
  • March 2024, $0.1649 at the merger — $118,536

GameSquare acquired FaZe on 7 March 2024 at an exchange ratio of 0.13091, converting his holding into about 94,109 GameSquare shares. The purchase accounting values the entire FaZe Clan organisation at $14,587,000.

One thing we cannot tell you, and nor can anyone else. Because he filed no Form 4, whether he sold any shares on the way down is nowhere disclosed. He may well have sold into the 2022 strength — the resale prospectus exists precisely to allow that. Any profile stating he “made” or “lost” a specific sum on FaZe stock is inventing it. He left FaZe Clan on 27 December 2025 after thirteen years, with no terms disclosed.

Property: Good Records, Weak Attribution

Two San Diego County transactions are documented, and both come with the same caveat.

The caveat: the transactions are documented, the ownership is not. Both county portals block automated access, so no grantor-grantee search was possible, and every source naming him is a content farm citing nothing. Deed-level confirmation would need a paid title search.

One address correction worth making, because it has spread widely: profiles placing the Poway purchase at 18300 Old Coach Drive are wrong. That parcel last sold in May 2017 for $2,325,000 and carries a 2025–26 assessed value of $2,698,358 — a $4.4 million purchase in 2022 would have forced a reassessment. It is a different house.

The Businesses: Real, But Unpriced

  • 1UP Candy, the freeze-dried sweets brand he co-founded in 2023, is substantial — national Walmart distribution, a claimed 12,000-plus doors. No revenue, funding, valuation or ownership stake has been published anywhere. Even Forbes’ own 2025 profile of the company contains no dollar figures at all
  • A G Fuel deal is documented to exist and its value is not. FaZe’s annual report notes he “had a smaller scale deal with G Fuel” — and characterises talent deals generally as smaller than brand deals, often from niche sponsors and month-to-month
  • A restaurant. We found no evidence he opened one

On YouTube he is reported at 29.8 million subscribers and 10.9 billion views as of July 2026. We could not verify that at source — the channel redirects to a cookie-consent gate we declined to pass. And a point worth stating plainly: Social Blade-style “estimated earnings” are algorithmic extrapolations from public view counts using assumed advertising rates. They are not disclosed income, ignore his actual revenue split, costs and tax, and have no place in a net-worth calculation.

One open question we will not close prematurely: we found no evidence he has appeared on a Forbes top-earning-creators list, but our search budget ran out before that could be established as a firm negative. No evidence found is not the same as disproven, and we say so.

Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to the most common questions about this profile. For our sourcing and update method, see our Methodology page.

What is FaZe Rug's net worth in 2026?

We publish no figure, because nothing in the public record supports a total. There is no disclosed income, no filing stating his net worth, and no audited figure for any of his businesses. The one genuinely documented asset - his FaZe Clan equity - is also the item most profiles inflate, and it collapsed by 98.4 per cent between 2022 and 2024. Figures circulating on celebrity-home sites, such as a $30 million mansion or a $15 million portfolio, cite nothing at all.

How much was FaZe Rug's FaZe Clan stake worth?

His holding is documented in SEC filings at 718,884 shares, or 0.991 per cent of the company - the largest talent stake disclosed, ahead of NICKMERCS, Offset and Lil Yachty. Its value fell from about $7,188,840 at the July 2022 deal price of $10.00 to $118,536 when GameSquare acquired FaZe in March 2024 at $0.1649 a share. That is a 98.4 per cent decline, or 99.2 per cent from the August 2022 peak. Two qualifications: these were equity-plan awards rather than founder stock, and the share count is a gross ceiling including unvested awards and unexercised options.

Was FaZe Clan really worth $1 billion?

No. The billion-dollar figure comes from the October 2021 announcement and was an implied valuation for the combined company assuming no shareholders redeemed. The merger agreement itself set FaZe's base equity value at $650 million - negotiated up from an opening offer of $450 million. When the deal closed in July 2022, holders of about 92 per cent of the trust redeemed, leaving an implied value of $725 million and delivering FaZe $57.8 million net against roughly $218 million anticipated. Less than two years later the whole organisation was acquired for $14.6 million.

Did FaZe Rug sell his FaZe shares before the collapse?

Nobody knows, and that is a genuine gap rather than an evasion. Because he was never an officer, director or ten per cent owner, he filed no Form 4 - the disclosure that would record insider sales. The resale prospectus registering his shares exists precisely to permit selling, so he may well have sold into the 2022 strength. But no filing discloses whether or when. Any profile stating he made or lost a specific sum on FaZe stock is inventing it.

What houses does FaZe Rug own?

Two San Diego County transactions are documented. A Rancho Santa Fe property was bought in June 2020 for $4,250,000 and sold in April 2021 for $4,500,000 - a gain of about $250,000 in nine and a half months. A Poway estate was bought in January 2022 for $4,400,000, above its $3,950,000 asking price. Two corrections: the Poway figure is $4.4 million, not the $4.6 million widely repeated, and profiles placing it at 18300 Old Coach Drive have the wrong house - that parcel last sold in 2017 for $2,325,000. The important caveat is that while the transactions are documented, the ownership is not: county recorder portals block automated access, and every source naming him is an unsourced celebrity-homes site.
